We are pleased to introduce Mr. Benoit Roger Ph. D., the new member in the team dedicated to consulting service and analyses. During the past few years, Benoit worked as a post-doc at the ‘’Laboratoire LASEVE’’ (UQAC) and as coordinator of Groupe BoréaRessources, a local company producing boreal essential oil he greatly contributed to launch.
Native of France, Benoit arrived in Québec in 2013 after defending his thesis in 2010 in the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis, close to Grasse, and continuing his work in the partner company of his doctorate (CIFRE ‘’convention industrielle de formation par la recherche’’ – Doctorate with Phytotagante, a producer and transformer of aromatic raw material in the south of France).
His hybrid university career in biology and phytochemistry / analytical chemistry as well as the ten last years spent between laboratories and production workshops of essential oil and plant extracts give him a transversal vision of the aromatic raw material field. Thus, he brings a new and complementary expertise to Phytochemia and he is very pleased to join this very nice team, which is very, welcoming, dynamic, professional, and already has a very good expertise in the field of essential oil.
At Phytochemia, Benoit mainly works on consulting service contacts and essential oil analyses but also develops a new project you will hear about very soon…
